Theressa (Coleman) Lenear '61 has begun classes as a doctoral student with Praxis Institute for Early Childhood Education pursuing her degree in Leadership in Human Development and Social Change. It is a 5-year program which includes the completion of her dissertation.

Pam (Noll) Husson '68 is currently living in Mesa, Arizona. The entire Husson clan will be having a family reunion this summer that will spill over to the Monroe All-Alumni Weekend pig roast in June. They are looking forward to visiting with classmates there.

Rebecca Shroeder-Hill '75 and husband, John, are heading to Italy in April for a ten day vacation.

Gene Sager '84 is a proud new dad. His wife, Krista, gave birth to a happy, healthy baby boy on November 4, 2005. Evan William Sager weighed 9 lbs. 6 ozs and measured 21 1/2 inches in length.

Kevin O'Leary '87 continues his head-shrinkin' ways in his psychology practice in Anchorage. In case that's not challenging enough, he is planning on running, walking, or crawling the Vancouver marathon in May 2006. There to spatula him up at the finish line will be his considerably wiser brother Bill '83 who continues to manage the dough at the Alaska Railroad.

Krista (Hughes) Stamper '88 has accepted the position of Financial Advisor with the brokerage firm of Wedbush Morgan Securities in their Fairbanks office. Krista is also Monroe's Cheerleading Coach for the 2005-2006 basketball season. The season included the Top of the World Basketball Tournament in November and the Aurora Conference B-ball Tournament.

Janet (McCaleb) Noll '89 and her husband, Dave, are proud to announce the birth of their second child, Leonid Keefe Gamelin. Leo was born November 17, 2005 at 11:07 a.m.

Jennifer (Hoppner) Martin '91 and husband are currently living in Seattle. They are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in June.

Katie (Schikora) Davis '96 has had many new changes come her way in the past few months. Her husband, Travis, took a new job in Bend, Oregon for a custom home builder. Katie has a new job at a local surgery center along with a new home in Bend. Most exciting, though, is the announcement that they are expecting their first child in May of 2006.

Luke Butcher '03 married Alisa Pierson on December 31, 2005 in Fairbanks. The couple is residing in Fairbanks.

Gary Walker, who taught sixth grade at ICS during the 1980's is a sixth grade teacher at Wasilla Middle School. His daughter Megan is currently a junior at Wasilla High School. His daughter Brandee just returned from a one-year tour of duty in Iraq and will be studying medicine in Memphis. Mr. Walker would love to hear from his old students and colleagues.
