Father Francis W. McGuigan, S.J. Annual Fund Drive
2007 Annual Fund Brochure - PDF
The annual fund is named in honor of Father McGuigan as a tribute to the 30 years of service he gave to the schools as chief fundraiser. Father McGuigan, when the schools were still young, saw that additional sources of operating income other than tuition were needed. He created the HIPOW Auction, golf tournaments and raffles as sources of annual revenue. His dedication to ICS and Monroe created events which brought the community together in the spirit of fun, celebration and fundraising. His legacy is the community support that the schools receive even after he is gone.
By making a gift to the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks, you are supporting the mission of teaching students to dedicate themselves fully to their faith, to their intellectual growth, and the values of discipline, respect and integrity. We ask alumni, parents and friends to make a contribution to support the mission of the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks and to help keep this tradition alive and affordable to future generations of students.
