Mission Statement

Immaculate Conception School and Monroe Catholic Junior-Senior High School (The Catholic Schools of Fairbanks) are coeducational schools established by the Diocese of Fairbanks in 1946. Within the mission of the Diocese, the school’s role is to create an environment of academic excellence and a compassionate Catholic Community to achieve the following:

• To foster academic excellence through a challenging core curriculum
• To prepare students, through education, to proclaim and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word, worship and service.
• To encourage students to dedicate themselves fully to such values as personal discipline, mutual respect, moral clarity and moral integrity.
• To prepare students for the vocation of leadership and service in church and society.
