Are you currently accepting donations?

Yes and your help is greatly appreciated! All donations are tax-deductible. We are looking for new electronics (sorry, we cannot accept used games, systems or software), new children's items, tools, hunting equipment, small furniture, home decor, restaurant gift certificates, entertainment certificates, professional services, jewelry, precious stones, wall art and Alaska Native arts & crafts. Due to recent toy recalls, we cannot accept used toys.

Where do I drop off my donations?

Please bring your donations to the HIPOW office at 718 Betty St. between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. We accept donations up until auction time, but may reserve an item for the next year if time is of the essence.

Will you accept ALL donations?

While the HIPOW office appreciates and accepts a wide variety of items, we cannot accept every donation. Donated items should be new, or in as like-new condition as possible. Exceptions include handmade blankets, collectibles, jewelry and antique certified furniture. Monroe Foundation, Inc. and HIPOW reserves the right to share donated items with other non-profit agencies.

I would like to attend the auction, but cannot find a babysitter. Do you offer on-site babysitting?

Yes, we offer babysitting from 6pm to 9pm on Family Night, Friday. Children must be 3 years or older.

Will there be food at the auction?

Yes, a concession stand with hot dogs, chips and a drinks is available on Family Night (Friday). Saturday night, there will be a sit-down Black Tie Dinner at 6:30pm for guests who have paid reservations.

Is there any charge for admission?

Admission is free on Friday, Family Night. On Saturday however, admission is by paid reservation of $125 per person made in advance.
