BUILD A BETTER WORLD! SUMMER READING FUN
Kids from 2 to 18 are invited to the Noel Wien Public Library, located at 1215 Cowles St., to join the free Build A Better World! Summer Reading Fun program. Just read (or listen to) books of your choice this summer, and earn weekly prizes, plus earn a free book at the end of the program. There are also contests, crafts, prize drawings, a fun ending party, and more! Sign up begins the week of Monday, May 22nd and continues on an ongoing basis through July 22nd. Stop by the public library and let your summer fun begin! Looking for something fun and inexpensive for your children to do? The Fairbanks Tennis Association is hosting a Tennis and Block Party, Sunday, May 21 from 12 - 4 p.m.
The last 3 days of school your student(s) will be allowed to wear clothing other than uniform clothing.
There will be a Prayer Gathering for the 8th Grade class on Wednesday, May 17th at 11:30 a.m. There will also be a luncheon to follow in the MPR.
We will be having fun on May 15th for our End of the Year Field Day. We will be playing games, eating hot dog lunch provided by our fantastic PTO and signing yearbooks. All this will happen outside from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Our After School Program will have regular hours May 15, 16 & 17th. Our program closes at 6:00 p.m.
On May 17th there will be NO Academic Assistance. Because it is early dismissal and the last day of school, all students should plan on leaving for summer break at 12:50 p.m.
