Gabe Silas is one of the few students this year I get to have twice in a day. In the morning, he is asking solid questions and cracking wry jokes in Chemistry along with his fellow sophomores. In the afternoon, Gabe stands literally head and shoulders above his classmates as the only high schooler in this semester of Robotics. In both classes he is a dedicated and fun student, not afraid to ask for help when he needs it and helping others whenever he can. Keeping up with 2 periods of my puns can be a tall order... but Gabe measures up in every way!

Jean-Paul Brown was absent from class recently and came to see me about his missed classwork upon his return. We had watched a documentary in class so I gave him several options for viewing it. Having made his choice, he made appropriate arrangements and arrived as promised to view the parts he had missed. I was very impressed by his diligence and follow-through. He did a great job of taking responsibility for his work, and showed discipline and integrity in honoring his commitments. Well done, Jean-Paul!
