The Catholic Schools of Fairbanks is continuing to closely monitor the coronavirus also known as COVID-19. As of March 4, 2020 at 1100, no cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Alaska. However, as transmission occurs in more and more places around the world, it is increasingly likely that outbreaks will occur in Alaska. The Alaska Department of Health & Social Services and the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development are closely monitoring the current conditions globally, nationally, and in Alaska. Families are strongly urged to maintain healthy, preventative behaviors that are necessary during any cold and flu season. These include, but are not limited to:
