Dear CSF Parents/Guardians,
On Friday, March 13, 2020 The Catholic Schools of Fairbanks announced our decision to close schools and move to distance learning beginning March 23rd. On Friday, Governor Dunleavy mandated both public and private schools (to include CSF) remain closed and deliver distance education through May 1. CSF administration, teachers, and staff have been diligently preparing for distance teaching/learning. I am confident in our ability to provide quality instruction and opportunities for academic growth. We will also provide structures and resources to help support this “new” social/emotional reality at home. CSF administration and faculty will continue to reach out to you, parents and guardians, as we navigate together, distance learning and the opportunities and challenges related. Continuity of Community: Be looking for daily video segments from our CSF staff on Facebook or our blog (they will be posted in both places). We are creating these in an effort to maintain our community during these times of isolation. We are here for you and your student(s) as we work together to encounter Christ, become Scholars, remain FAMILY. Amanda Angaiak, Director of Schools |
