These three students have gone above and beyond in their efforts and kindness during my first period art class. They have always been there for their fellow classmates lending a helping hand as well as making everyone feel included. They have taken a leadership role in the table-making process despite their own lack of initial confidence. They are all three quick learners and picked up on the fact that others needed their help. I appreciate this trait in their personalities and it is a trait that will be helpful throughout life. Ms. Kryzmowski ![]() Scott Jacobs is a senior and a member of the Academic Decathlon team here at Monroe. He is a hard worker in his classes and on occasion, takes his learning a step further by going “above and beyond” the required assignment. Outside of the classroom, Scott participates in AcaDeca and brings an element of humor to the team and practices. He tries to make sure that everyone doesn’t take things too seriously, while still adding to the overall goal of learning the material. Scott is an avid volunteer in the community as well, service hours aside, volunteering with younger grades and Joel’s Place. Scott is a good example of being open to growth, intellectually competent, and committed to doing justice! Ms. Jones
