My students of the week this week are Lauren White, Victoria Schachle, and Gabe Silas. Lauren and Victoria have started off the year in geometry really well. Doing corrections in geometry is optional, and so far both of these girls have turned in almost every assignment for corrections. Not only have they turned their homework in for corrections, they have had very few, if any, questions on those assignments that needed to be fixed. If they continue to consistently do those corrections, I think they will find geometry to be a breeze. On the other hand, Gabe has taken a different approach to doing his homework. Instead of turning homework in for corrections, he has been routinely coming in to ask me questions on anything from the homework that he was not sure about. Despite the fact that he is not doing corrections, his approach is essentially achieving the same outcome as if he were. I am extremely proud of the work ethic of these three students and am confident they will be successful in all of their classes if they continue to put in this much effort.
