Catholic Schools (CSF) Safe Environment Portal

Welcome and Thank You

Greetings and welcome to the Catholic Schools (CSF) Safe Environment Portal. We are grateful for your interest in volunteering as a member of our school community, and appreciate your commitment in meeting expectations of safety within our school(s).

As a member of The Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks, CSF takes very seriously its responsibility to provide a safe environment in our classrooms, on the field of play, and throughout various school-sponsored events. All clergy and staff, along with coaches and volunteers working with children and youth, undergo criminal background checks and training.

The following link to the Diocesan page, safeandsacred-Fairbanks, provides both background check opportunity, and required training in the recognition and prevention of child sexual abuse.

Online Makes It Easy!

Any member of the CSF community who will be working with our students is required to create a Safe And Sacred account through the provided link (above), submit information required to obtain a background check, and produce a “Certificate of Completion” for participation in the online course, “Serving Vulnerable Populations.”
Notes:
  1. This course takes about 1.5-2 hours to complete. Viewing needn’t be done in one sitting.
  2. Certificates of Completion must be either provided as a PDF to the school, or printed and hand-carried in.
