The Catholic Schools of Fairbanks promotes volunteering as a way of life through the cultivation and sharing of gifts of time, talent, and treasure. Our school volunteer program calls families to share their time and talent with their school family.
As part of their commitment to the school community, CSF families are required to provide at least 20 hours of service within the school.

- The person(s) providing the stewardship hours must be the parent(s)/guardians(s) of the student.
- Occasionally, and with the permission of the principals, grandparents or others may serve in ways that earn volunteer hours.
- Donations to the Volunteer Program can be made in lieu of time at $10 an hour.
How does this work?
- Each family is required to complete 20 Hours of school-related volunteer activities between July 1 – May 31.
- Service hours are to be completed by parents (or close family members) of the students only.
- Partial hours of service are rounded up to the nearest half-hour.
- Families may not bank hours for future years.
- Families may not transfer hours to other school families.
- Volunteer Hours tracking is an “honor system,” meaning families enter their own time on this page.
- All volunteer hours are reviewed quarterly by the school administration to monitor family progress towards the agreed 20 Hours per family per school year
- Donations to the Volunteer Program can be made in lieu of time at $10 an hour.
