If you use Google chrome, you can access the school printers from anywhere. Just follow these instructions (https://support.google.com/cloudprint/answer/1686197?rd=1) from a school computer, and from now on you can use Google Chrome to print from any device you have.

This video provides installation instructions on how to install the new 2.8 grade book, reportedly eliminating the need to use java on your system. It will install the grade book, and place an icon for immediate launch on your desktop. Additionally, you can drag this icon to your dock, and have it remain there.

Using a QR code to direct students to a particular page or activity is a great way of keeping students on task

The basic steps to use a QR code are pretty simple

1. Create/find content you want to link to
2. Get link to the content
3. Use QR code generator to create QR code to the content
4. Print QR code for use

That's all there is to it.

The PowerSchool for Parents and PowerSchool for Students mobile apps are now available for Android devices!

PowerSchool Mobile for Android 1.1 includes the following features:

Improvements to grade formatting and assignment filtering
Improvements to help users more easily connect to district server
User interface improvements

This version also includes resolution to issues that resulted in the app automatically closing in the following areas:

When viewing grades
Upon app startup
When entering invalid URLs

Thanks to Erin Hanrahan for posing the question on an easy way to get photos/videos from the iPad labs to your Macs.

This will work for the faculty Macs, and the ICS classroom macs.
